EDentaLink software
is designed to enable dental clinics, dental laboratories and other specialists to communicate electronically and exchange data, images, annotations, required work, deadlines about patient appointments in a secure (HIPAA compliant) and effective environment.

 

» Create a patient file which includes:

o Personal information
o Specific work to be done by the lab (work request)
o Images of the patients current teeth
o Annotated images of said teeth, describing work to be done and specific areas to be dealt with
o Patients current teeth color (shading) to be matched by the lab
o General typewritten notes/requests by dental technicians and dentists
o Patient's next appointment for fitting (provides a deadline for the lab)

» Select which lab the dentist wishes the information to be sent to (dentist will usually use several labs, depending on the work to be done). Reduce time and error by filling the electronic Laboratory's form adequately.

» Upload to the Dental-Link server the entire patient file, so that all can be retrieved by the specific Lab.

» Retrieve all patient information.

» Automatically print work orders, along with images.

» If digital reworking or the original image is required, special software (by other vendors) is used.

» Update the patient file as to status of order:

o This update is automatically visible by the dentist

» Determine a delivery date, and update the file.

» Take images of work done and attach to the patient file for review by the dentist prior to work being finalized:

o Labs occasionally require dental offices to approve prior work being completed

» Organize shipping and tracking so that dental offices know exactly when the order is after leaving the lab.
